Toxicity and repellant activity of organic extracts of bioactive Indian medicinal plant, Alstonia scholaris against Tribolium castaneum (Herbst) adults

The effect of polar and non-polar extract of leaves and stem barks of Alstonia scholaris (L.) R.Br. (Apocynaceae) were evaluated for its repellent activity. The study of repellency was revealed that as the concentration increases 25, 50 and 100mg/mlwith increased in repellent effect. Such study will be helpful to increase the pest management potency and efficacy of plant derived products.
